Behind the Scenes at The Rock AW12

On Wednesday I headed down to Sunny Bank Mills in Leeds for The Rock’s AW12 shoot, photographed by the very talented Sean Knott. Our last shoot (which you can see here) focused on some serious colour blocking for Spring/Summer, but this time it was all about cosy knits, clever layering and chic coats for winter.

Styled by Caroline Sullivan, there were some amazing outfit combinations – this lady knows how to create a detailed look which appears to be effortless. My favourite pieces were the camal coat from Warehouse at Debenhams, spotty trousers from Primark and a cream mac from Topshop. Hair and make up artist Lou Box, created beautifully classic make up for the shoot and you have to see the 50s style hair for the Christmas Party look, it was perfect from every angle. If you’d like to know which products she uses to create the perfect base and more, have a look at my interview with her here.

So finally, here is your exclusive look at what happens behind the lens when creating an Autumn/Winter shoot to remember. It’s not all tea drinking and laughing you know. (It definitely is.)
