When I woke up this morning it took me a little while to work out why I could hear people laughing, birds tweeting and the sound of wellies being shoved back into cupboards. And then I realised.
The sun has finally come out to play!

Joking aside, it’s lovely to not have to layer up and keep your head down to avoid the rain, so when I pulled open the curtains this morning my mood was instantly lifted. I made pancakes (the breakfast of Kings) and headed out into Leeds to drink coffee, listen to buskers and generally laze the day away.
These boyfriend jeans from River Island are my favourites as they are really comfy and versatile. I wear them with Timberlands, sandals, ankle boots, baggy jumpers, everything! I am a big fan of skinny jeans but I have found recently that they are cutting off my circulation and generally feeling a little uncomfortable. Does anyone else find this?!
The pink lace top is from H&M and is lovely to wear in the sunshine. I like it against denim as it toughens it up a bit and stops me feeling too girly. And lastly, these amazing gladiator sandals have been in my life for about 5 years. They were around £30 from Miss Selfridge and are the best value shoe I have ever bought. They are in desperate need of re-heeling but they remain the comfiest sandals in the world. Fact.
So that’s my perfect Saturday outfit really. Comfy, easy to wear and ready to be thrown off in the place of pj’s when I get home!
