Kobi Levi creates sculptural footwear which uses the power of humour and social satire to push the boundaries of the conventional.
The “wearable sculptures” draw their inspiration from animals, food, sex and celebrities, and blur the lines between art and fashion. Kobi designed commercial footwear in Italy, China and Brazil and is currently working on his own women’s shoe collection in Tel-Aviv, Israel.
“In my artistic footwear design the shoe is my canvas. The piece is a wearable sculpture. It is alive with/out the foot/body. All the pieces are hand-made in my studio”
