Looking at street style blogs and trawling the pages of Vogue has got me thinking; can anybody master the art of being effortlessly stylish?
Kate Moss and Chloe Sevigny are known for their unforced, individual sense of style but is this down to the rails of designer clothes and accessories on tap or is it purely their own sense of style that acts as a stylish foundation for the clothes? Perhaps Maybelline is wrong and maybe, in fact, they are just born with it.
Recently I’ve found that the days where I literally throw on an outfit, my friends comment on my sense of style and sounding a little too surprised for my liking. Why didn’t someone tell me before? All those flippin’ hours wasted on planning what to wear I’ll never see again!
So my quest to nail down exactly what it is that makes us appear effortlessly stylish continues. I’ll let you know when I find out but for now, here is my favourite down-time outfit from this month:
