There’s only so many times a year that kicking through puddles in your wellies and raincoat is fun, and now I just want to wear something that doesn’t require 98% of my body to be covered for fear of wind chill or frost bite.
Ok maybe that’s a little dramatic, but I am getting tired of the non-stop drizzle and it’s playing havoc with my wardrobe. It’s July, the festivals are kicking off, floral headbands are at the ready, I have bulk bought bottles of Pimms and god damn it, I demand some sun!
Tonight, in a slightly saner state of mind, I ventured out into Leeds to celebrate the launch of Shang-Ting Peng’s newly published UK Observing Diary Book and decided to rock out a little double denim to lift me out of my chunky-knit induced fashion coma. Here’s what I wore:
