So my trusty camera and I hit Leeds today to see what is being worn now the cold is creeping in (and I learned a valuable lesson: just because you put a woolly jumper over a maxi dress, it does not equal warmth. Potential frost bite situation on the old legs).
Leeds can be eclectic in it’s styling with many people not afraid of thinking outside the box. Here are some of my favourites…

I love how she has a mix of textures in this outfit; the feminine shirt looks great with the tailored trousers and clunky boots.

I love how her outfit appears to be effortless and ‘thrown on’ but the haircut screams structure. It almost more striking against her boyfriend’s use of colour. I love everything about his look, the hair and beard simply perfect it

This guy really made me smile. The bright trainers, rolled up jeans, layering, bobble hat and rucksack are a playful mix. The studs on both the girl’s boots and bag tie the outfit together and the plum coloured jeans lift the outfit.
The girl on the right’s hair completely finishes the look and I love how a simple brooch makes all the difference. I’m in love with the girl on the left’s style! She completely knows what works for her and how simple pieces together can be striking. Oh and the briefcase…

…yes it gets a photo all by itself! She picked it up from a vintage fair for £10 and has used it every day since. I love it’s slightly battered charm.

So I had to be slightly sneaky with these two because they looked like they were far too busy to be pestered by me! The guy is just the essence of playful with his smart shoes vs a bobble hat and old rucksack. The girl is simply amazing! I love the leggings with the camel coat and a flash of red. Very classy.
Oh and here’s me!

Happy Wednesday! xx
