My love of floral prints is nothing new (see River Island florals and The Perfect Printed Trousers to see what I mean!) and it continues with these printed capri trousers sent to me by the lovely folks at Republic.

I love the 50′s feel to these trousers, they sit high on the waist and finish above the ankle, making them perfect for wearing with a tied up denim shirt or if you’re feeling brave, a bralet. I kept it simple with a coral coloured jumper and wedges to go to a BBQ, but they can also be dressed up for the evening with a tuxedo jacket and killer heels.
I find this is something I look for in clothes of late, if they can be worn both casually or dolled up, it helps to justify the money spent and means I feel that I have actually saved money by buying them. I know, it’s a revelation.
Eventually, when I find the right pairing, I’m going to team them with a clashing floral print and go all out with my floral obsession. I’ll let you know how that one goes…
