Traditionally clashing colours is something that just isn’t done. It is instilled in all of us that in the big bad fashion rulebook it states that to wear pink and red *gasp* together is a huge style faux par.
Well I’m throwing caution to wind and going there. Yep, that’s how I roll!

Don’t be afraid of having some fun with colour and clashing can look great if you style it the right way.
Prints can be hard to coordinate and look a little busy when clashed, so keep the colours blocked and bright and style with simple accessories or just one statement piece (eg. a chunky gold necklace). I prefer to wear nude shoes as I find a black pair makes the outfit appear too heavy and draws the eye away from the clash. Also have fun with textures; knits, cords, denim, velvet, see what works together and add depth to the look.
If you are a fan of the clashing look, have a go at wearing pink and orange, lime and red or yellow and orange, and tweet me your outfits! @thestyletag
